An approach to match different styles organically is to open a dialogue between the materials. Like it happens among two people, they need things in common to relate to each other.

For example, in the unusual combination of Venetian stucco walls and marble floors of a XVI palace and the raw modern look of a Coconut rug, all components are made in natural materials.

However, this is not the only guideline for a perfect match: the aesthetic contrast among the different components makes them stand out.

Another option is to include simple and clean modern elements to lighten up and balance lavish classic interiors. Working with colors and textures will help integrate a minimalist object in a more visually charged traditional environment. In the case of the Cobblestone rug placed in an Eighteen century looking living room, the colors are integrated into the existing palette. At the same time, the elegant, silky texture of the product complements the classic feel of the interiors.
